With 218 firms coming from Spain and other European countries, and with about 8.000 buyers, it was celebrated the 71st edition of the International Fair of Children’s Fashion, in Valencia.
In this edition, 13 firms participated on FIMI’s Catwalk, where last trends and tendencies for next season, Spring/Summer 2011 were shown.
Important Spanish firms such as Desigual, Custo Growing or Adolfo Dominguez. According to the exhibition manager, Josefa Ortiz, this fair has been used as a platform for foreign sales.
It has been proved that the children’s fashion sector has not suffered from the crisis as much as other sectors, with an turnover increase of 6.33% in 2009. It must be said though, in that year the prices decreased slightly around 5-6%. 22/06/2010 |
